About

“Jesus, not me” is a place for people to be inspired by the testimonies, stories, and praise reports of others, and to inspire others with the same. It is meant to give glory to God by illustrating what He has done in the lives of real people around the globe. Life is a journey, marked by milestones and landmarks that define who and what a person is, and sharing these moments with others can be inspirational to people who are at a cross-roads in their own life journey; perhaps they are looking for answers, or real-life experiences to help make difficult choices, or looking to see that there is light at the end of the tunnel. This site aims to provide glimpses into the lives of people willing to share their experiences with others, to provide hope and to give glory to God, to profess their relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is meant to, above all things, bring glory to the Name that is above all Names, that of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  It is meant to illustrate the millions of lives that Jesus has touched and changed, no, transformed; the lives that are, indeed, new creations due to the saving grace of God and His Son, Jesus.

It is a place for people to read about other people, real people, who had real struggles and real difficulties.  It is a place for people to realize that the circumstances they are going through, the things that get them down, the struggles, the deepest cries of their hearts are shared by others, lived by others, and have been changed in others.

In short, this site is meant to inspire and exhort and encourage people to let them know that there is, in fact, a better way to live life.  By accepting and understanding that God loves each and every one of us, and that He has a heart for the broken-hearted, and that He longs to have a personal relationship with everyone — despite what we have done, or said, or thought — we come to experience the greatest gift that anyone could ever receive: the peace, joy, and saving grace of Jesus.

So we encourage you: everyone has a story to tell.  Everyone has a testimony.  You might not think your story is exciting or grand, but you do have a story and if you wish to tell it to the world, we encourage you to do so.  It isn’t always the broken-hearted, those who clawed their way out of the depths of depression or addiction, that have the most powerful stories.  There is something poignant and beautiful about everyone that will inspire and convict and speak to others in a way that you may not even imagine.  I encourage you to get in touch and, if you want to share your story with the world, please send it and we will put it on the site.  Sharing what God has done in your life is something every Christian is called to do and it is something that can be difficult.  Western society is so hands-off and respectful of others and focused on “space” that opportunities pass us by daily to share the gospel and what God has done in your life.  This is a place where you can take that opportunity to share with others. As well, this isn’t necessarily meant to host “conversion stories”. How you became a Christian is a great story to tell, but it isn’t the only store you can share. Simply sharing what God has done in your life, whether it be your conversion, a powerful thing God has done in your life, a way He has touched you, how He used to to be an instrument or servant to others — all of these are great stories that illustrate the kind of loving God we serve.

This is a place where we can say “it’s all about Jesus, not me”. More of You Lord, and less of me!

Please note: All postings will be anonymous.  This isn’t a place for people to look up and see what” Joe Smith” had gone through in his life.  This is a place where God can be glorified through our life’s stories.  The only thing we would ask to share, and this is entirely up to you, is where in the world, by country, that you are located.  Beyond that, your privacy will be respected and all contact sent will be read, replied to, and removed.  Comments to stories will be moderated to ensure there is no spam or inappropriate content. Please read the full Privacy Policy for all the details.

By making the posts anonymous, we make sure that all glory is given to He that deserves it, without distraction of who is telling the tale.

Thank you, and God bless!
